Matt is a former youth worker who became a stay-at-home, home-educating dad in 2018 when his wife, Nicola, began training at Trinity College, Bristol. Since then, he has become an active part of the home education community, passionate about supporting families and creating spaces where people can grow, connect, and flourish.
He works with both Streams Education and the Streams Learning Hub, developing resources, running sessions, and helping new home educators find their feet and their community. Matt brings strengths in adaptability, empathy, positivity, and a love of learning—qualities that shape his work with children, young people, and parents alike.
When he’s not home educating, you’ll find Matt in the kitchen cooking for his family, trying to keep fit, listening to a podcast, or out walking with the dogs, Wilson and Robin (who are still learning the rules).
